Indian Embassy in Nigeria

Nigeria, officially called the Federal Republic of Nigeria is located in West Africa. The name of the country is taken from the River Niger which runs through the country. It is the most populated country in the continent of Africa and is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations. The country has been plagued by many environmental issues. Its large oil industry in the delta region experiences serious oil spills that lead to environmental problems. The other environmental problems the country faces are waste management and sewage treatment, soil degradation, deforestation and climate changes due to global warming. The High Commission of India has its address as Benin, the capital city of Nigeria.
